I just bought a violent, bloody pulp from 1954 called "They All Bleed Red", A 1947 anthology of vintage pulp stories called "Rue Morgue Vol.1" and Raymond Chandler's "The Big Sleep" for under $20!
I read alot of vintage detective pulp. i'm hoping some of it will rub off.

I've never seen that film... I'll have to check it out.
I volunteered to help The Briefs set up, but I got the distinct feeling that they weren't looking for female assistance... which rubbed me the wrong way. Hopefully I'll catch them next time they're in town.
This was actually the second time I saw Gogol and Throw Rag play together... but Throw Rag has since lost thier washboardist... and apparently Sean Doe is devistated about it. I made the mistake of buying all the guys in the band shots. Apparently Sean is sober after having gone through rehab... he was very nice about it though
I still felt like an ass.
I'm sure I could get you into some trouble! I'm actually planning on getting a masters in animation, so I'd be right in your area... though it will be a while before I can go back to school.
