The SG show was fun, but especially since I knew people there from here.
The gala is June 15, in Toronto. At least, I'm pretty sure that's when it is. Check the notice in the Canada East group. I was at last years and it was the first SG thing I went to. I was still fairly new to the site, and I'm extremely shy in person, but I managed to make the seven-hour drive to Toronto, and it was worth it. I met a bunch of people I already had talked to here, and some more.
Plus, there were a few burlesque acts, and lots and lots of beautiful women.
People come from all over to attend, not just the Toronto area, but from Michigan and New York State, and there were even a couple people who came all the way from Newfoundland.
It's fun, so you should find a friend who drives and invite them to come along. (Yes, you're allowed one guest).
By the way, generally speaking if you reply to my comment in your own comment section, I won't see it. Thus the delay in replying.

'm going to be shooting what I will call me first practice set for SG with a new photog this coming Saturday. Who knows though....if they turn out well enough then maybe I might submit it. Since I'm such a camera whore I'm going to be shooting a few sets for SG soon. I applied a few months ago and the search for a decent photographer in this area has really turned up nothing.
