i had pho for dinner... i'm starting to believe the stuff will cure whatever ails you.

i think costco is awesome. is that a bad thing? confused they have industrial sizes of things i never knew existed, but then i want. for example, i went on tuesday and purchased a 4 tin set of individual packets of pre-ground coffee in 4 different flavours! who cares if...

Excuses, exscuses. I tire of them quickly. not because I don't suffer fools, (for I am the quintesential fool) but becuase I've done and sed them all. Aint nothin to it, but to do it. Whenever 'made in China, sweat shop isms' are implied in the many fashions they are, and such excuses are offered I can but say expect no compassion when next you think you'd like some. And so I deliver a blunt truth.
That sed it's true high ideals are in so many ways impossible to achieve but it's in the effort and aspiration that the truth is revealed, not the mental seperation.

You are one I would indeed enjoy maintaining contact with. I have a freind I met in Canada, Victoria. Some day I will visit. I have no idea where Toronto is in relation to Victoria. But contact me via the other doo hickey and and this exploration will continue most yummily biggrin

What a beautiful thing Mr. Morris wrote. I might borrow that for my next journal entry! I'll give you credit though smile

And I wish I was as ready for Christmas as you are!

Yay Canada, indeed
biggrin

I was just reading through an old(er) thread about Toronto, and I noticed that my 2 friends YumYum and abadinfluence live there. Although I think I was dropped from his list for lack of participation.

My husband and I would like to move to T.O., but we can't 'til his son (my stepson) is older. So maybe in around 6 years, we'll be looking into it.

Went check some bikes out today. Rmember I was tellin you I had a Hybrid? I remembered it's an Avanti. I was surprised hybrids are still being produced and getting popular. Fella shoed me a Specialized Sirrus Pro. OMG biggrin kiss love!!! It's got Zertz. No good trying to contain myself when he told me that. The shits amazing, suspensension without the weight. Had to share. I'm in love again, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee dribbled bibble pop
bhikkshu:
Yeah I don't know how appropriate Zertz are for mountain biking they're just not that hard core but for road bikes they're certainly the now future. No doubt the frame is the main cost. Go carbon. Do you know any related movies worth watching even if they're sorta doco events things!!!???

Live an let die. Or like Willie D said, 'let a ho be a ho'. Not so sweet, but Zombies will be what zombies be.

i cleaned the apartment for 12 hours straight today. i had no idea such a small space could need so much time and effort put into it. makes me wonder how long it will take to clean up my brain tongue ah, i love my mind the way it is. it needs some fine tuning, but it's within its eccentricities that i learn the most about...

Well, you're always on point, Yumyum.

At-home mystery schooling would imply meditation, yoga, qi gong, etc. Be conscious in every moment. India will always call those that want to know truth in it's rawest form. It's not necessary though. That said, a master will assist in your growth infinitely. That's why I sit with Maitreya. Souls merge, frequencies increase. Zen appealed to me a great deal ... finally. I read a lot about all sorts of truth finding mechanisms. I was only drawn to nullOsho through Maitreya but Osho talks almost exclusively about zen. Read The Power of NOW by Eckhart Tolle. This book is the book. So easily accessed, but it make you work. Know you will burn.

Gangaji

More and more enlightened beings. Why!?

Yep, you're right I don't swap kiss for $$$. I have been thinking... Sex, y'know, passion, etc. But there's this woman at a restaurant whom when I walked there, something about her face... nearly 4 months later, it's getting easier to actually look at her, in the eyes. And I though a woman like that, to recieve a kiss, just a peck, God I think I would, I don't know. But that thought killed the way I looked at sex and love. The simple things are so much more precious.

Humbled yet again.

You're awesome Yumyum. Enjoy your alloneness

it is extremely difficult for me to watch someone suffer and know i am the cause of it, but there's nothing i can do to make it better. except ignore my own happiness, which is wrong.

yes, the foo and i are parting ways, so i can do some of that cliched but oh-so-necessary soul-searching. i'm actually excited. my lack of desire for a diamond...

Yumyum, I 'm not asking for $$ anymore. I keep getting kiss . So i'm gonna ask for kiss , then I'll get $$. Simple really, if you're stupid or maybe if I'm stupid... shocked

Chill, kid. The lights always shinning

A family of just me and my kids isn't what I had in mind. I know we can do things together, they and I, that I don't need a husband to have fun.

But this is not the kind of family I wanted for me and my kids. It's a fractured existence. The kind of complete and stable feeling that is there with all of us is one that cannot be duplicated. He was not a negative aspect of our family. My kids are not better off without him here. It sucks.

Yes, there are positives for me.....I have a chance to focus on myself, and come into my own. I look forward to that prospect! Am excited about it.

But, still sadnes about the reality of a separated family.

I know how you feel. Misery may love company, but unfortunately there's no axiom about misery loving distant, wholly separate, independently motivated, sympathetic misery.

For the record, I don't think I hate women, I just think I've consistently managed to say things that get under women's skin to such a degree that women hate me.

Thank you for the birthday wishes!

Meeting people is, I find, the most difficult part of growing up. The most you can do is continue to enjoy the pass-times and hobbies you've always enjoyed, and hope you meet interesting people along the way.

Yeah I had a Marin. It's funny. Just before I went to travel I didn't put it away and it got stolen. Bugger. Then just leaving we stopped to get a bite and parked up at the vid store is a bike with my seat... and my handle bars.. oh that's my bike it's been painted. Thank you I'll take it back.
So's I goes down south picking citrus (this is in OZ). I gets in a sitch that's more intimidating than the joy of my bike so left it there and split to Sydney. It was a Pine Mountain. Orange.

I saw the new version has disc brakes. I may get one when I go to Europe in 2006. My was bike was home. I think some freinds put in my bed one time as if to imply... well when you're free ya need nothing else.

I had a hybrid (not Marin) too, great for the city which is usually the only plce I get to ride. I love the traffic, it's hella dodgy. Yep Definately Marin biggrin

guess i should write a new one of these... *digs for inspiration*

i notice that when i think about something very hard, it usually presents itself to me over the following days.

some examples: i've been thinking about the phrase "Saturn ascends" and went to find out what it meant (it signifies limitation, discipline, and responsibilty). the next day my free will astrology tells me...

Welcome to Seduction!

I've had some great teachers in the area, so I felt obligated to work with others to further the field. Plus, I learn more about something when I discuss it in an open forum.

Feel free to pass on the word to anyone who you think would enjoy the group, but I want problem-solvers, not whiners. Sometimes other relationship-oriented forums degrade to "why does no one like me", "nice guys/girls finish last, so I have to be a jerk/bitch to get women/men" rants, and I don't want that.
