my 2 co-workers lost their houses due to Hurricane Ike's flooding.

i don't even know if they'll show up to work tomorrow or not.

fuck hurricanes. fuck mandatory evacuation.

so some friends came in from Natchitoches, we went to New Orleans for a few hours, it was dead because it was sunday night, and there was a tropical depression over us. still had fun. after waking up at like 2pm, i took them to get some real seafood, they loved it.
