Last weeks work party was fun...sort of. This is a spend the evening charming the bigwigs sort of night. It will be hours of listening to a bunch of people telling me in great detail how wonderful they are and how hard they work and how much money they earn...bla...bla...bla.
Not nearly as entertaining...unless they get drunk! Then I have blackmail options!

You know getting physically injured at a desk job is never usually a concern to me... today was one of those days that proves that theory wrong. I didn't lift anything heavy or fall, etc... some one called my name behind me and I swung around and pulled my back. Had to walk home partially hunched over... pain! Taking the day off tomorrow to go...

It seems I'm a pretty common person.
People always know someone who looks like me, or has other similar traits to me.
I do the stupidest things and end up doing more than pulling just a muscle.
I've broken both ankles, one has a plate with 7 screws that required 15 staples.

Well, that was a bust. Set out yesterday to start x-mas shopping, but got none done! Just ended up spending the entire afternoon reading and loafing around in coffee shops. Oh well...

Ooh, I feel your pain. Debt has been my constant companion for quite some time. Christmas is gonna be slim pickin's around my house this year unless something changes *drastically* very soon
