Spurred on by Goblintcat's post about getting a couch... I finally got a couch too! My apartment furnishing is almost complete... next purchase, a bigger coffee table. You know, now that I think about it... I really ought to reassess my priorities... the subwoofer I got for my surround sound system cost me more than my couch! eeek smile

One more day of freedom before I get thrown back into the same old routine. The holidays were fun while they lasted, but damn... this past week and a half just flew by! When's the next holiday? Valentine's Day? Crap, I'm single... um, Easter? Yeah, Easter. Then spring's right around the corner! Yes! Summer, here I come!

Hmm...I don't so much make resolutions. Although I do plan to make a list of things I accomplished in 2005, turn them into resolution form, and back-date them to 1-1-05. Does that count for anything? biggrin

I actually started a 90-day program to get myself back in shape last Thursday. I spent most of the weekend not being able to walk properly shocked I knew I'd let myself get out of shape but didn't realize exactly how bad. Now that I know, I'm even more determined to fix myself again smile

Oh, and those too-tight jeans I dug out of the closet Thursday afternoon? They had nothing to do with this sudden change in my lifestyle confused

Let's see, what do I have to report... I picked on the banjo pretty much all afternoon and slept. That's it. Not much to do in my hometown but eat, sleep, watch t.v. and drink. Gettin' a little bored here and kinda eager to get back to Mtl. and get back to the old grind.

I got stuff like stuff for the apartment like hot water kettle, food, dish set, cutlery... that kind of stuff. I also got a pretty cool winter parka. Santa didn't bring me anything. Not yet at least. Today is my first day off of working a 7 day straight, 12 hour a day shift. I had to work the 21st through the 27th. I got a shit load of overtime, but no Christmas.
