Look! Sometimes I write things. It sounds cooler when I read it with all the stops I had in mind, but uh, whatever.

God's Reputation

And it's a shame, wouldn't you know
That behind the shame
There lies a name
The name might just be the same
As the one who you claim -
God.
God? Shame follows the followers
But does that...

I'll re-read it. But I got lost somewhere. I had a bit of trouble staying into it. Perhaps it's not quite my style. But as I said. I'll re-read it. O.o
scott_ish:
Alrighty, read it again. And I'm thinking it just doesn't appeal to me. I'm not feeling this one I guess. Can't help there. Sorry. O.o

Here's a poem.

Ventriloquist

What hasn't the poet written about?
Nature's beauty shouts
The lovers and their quarrel
Weeding out sins from the floral
Bed

A poem will sum up lives
You can almost empathize
Maybe some light it will shed
Don't strain though, lay down your head
Rest

So what can I write
With fear of being too contrite
(Shh...

I really like that.

Oh gosh. I haven't written poetry in a couple of years. I rather miss it now.

You have inspired me to try and write something again. biggrin

Thank you and keep at it!!!

Here's a song about how I feel towards life right now.

If you're too busy to listen to a song, here's my attitude in a quote. "And that's how my depression got so horrible that it actually broke through to the other side and became a sort of fear-proof exoskeleton." - Hyperbole and a Half
I'm pretty sure this is good...

~hugs~ I just hope you are able to smile again soon. That's all that matters.

I hope that everything gets better soon. I hope you can focus on all the good things no matter how small they are.

I fainted for the first time in my life today.

I had always thought that when I finally got around to fainting it would be because I was discovering I was pregnant or being proposed to or seeing the beauty of the Sistine Chapel. What a load of romanticized shit. I was getting out of my shower to go to work and woke up on...

That's, not fun in the slightest. Hope you feel better soon. And by soon, I mean right now. It sucks not feeling well.

Happy blog! For my reader (I'm assuming singular here, don't want to look cocky), who wanted to know what brightens my dayssmile

First and most literally... the sun. I live in southern Colorado, which means that my winters and summers like to do extremes. Winters for me look like... well. I don't know. I'm in an awful depressed state of mopping...

You do the same thing during the winter that I do! Until I discovered snowboarding this last year. Gosh that hurt. Friendly strangers..... I find that concept awkward. Never come here, people here aren't very friendly. Probably cause of the cold. Sleep is good, it allows the mind to relax and reset. Also, how you choose to start your day can greatly affect the way your day turns out. Always try to make it the best!

Kids are creepy, Alcohol is fun on many occasions, Food is delicious. I can make you something if you ever come my way. As a way of being a friendly stranger. O.o

Smile and don't stop! It can change the world for you.

Your blogs / messages make me happy. I'm starting to enjoy your sarcastic sense of humor. Judging from your love of food, music, booze, and laughter, you should come to New Orleans... ALL strangers are friendly here.

I'm fairly positive one day I'll feel less alone.

I imagine myself with a guy (extremely cute, sweet, and funny of course) all cuddled up and watching movies and eating Chinese food. For reasons I don't understand, Chinese take-out is like the epitome of romance. My loneliness is directly related to my relationship status. I've realized this. I also know that...

I always figured the point of a blog was just to post random bits here and there and treat it like the epitome of chaos. Chaos is fun. On an alternative note. I don't think you're alone in that. I know others that share some of the same aspects. Not so much myself. Except for being shy/timid/alone. I'm just socially awkward. Not sure if you're timid. Most people that are shy tend to be a bit timid. From what I've seen.

New line, that last one seemed terrible, awkward and potentially worsening.

New line, that last one sucked. So, how's life? What do you do for a living? Or message me. Cause that might weird to post that for everyone to see. Or maybe not.

I'll shutup now. biggrin

Don't worry about telling us about yourself and using "I". How else can we know that you want to talk about other interesting things too.

Maybe I just need a blog.

Or less Friday nights spent online.

I met an interesting person downtown yesterday. He had purple hair, but that's not what stood out. It was hot (desert climate and all that) and he was wearing a jacket. I was in work uniform still (shorts that are way too small and a tank top with a full lace back...

I would've guessed hipster, but no iphone or ipad. The jacket was probably to get your attention.

Perhaps that would've been me ... not the best conversationalist, IRL. tongue

So I guess this is happening.

I'm not too sure why I'm on here. I have so much real life shit I need to do; the last thing I need is another internet time suck. But, here I am.

And who can resist a blog?? So unfair.

For a long while, I really wanted to be a Suicide Girl. They are the epitome...
