The only reason I can think of for going to Indiana is the Indy 500. Other than that, massive quantities of corn remind me of Central Illinois where I went to college. That place reminded me of that movie, Children of the Corn. But the worst part of the whole experience was when they would fertilize the fields in the fall by injecting hot pig poop into the ground. Man that stuff stunk.

salman rushdie is one of my favorite writers, though i think most of his other books are better than the satanic verses, especially the moor's last sigh is a great read (it takes some time though)... hope you enjoy yourself reading
