Well congrats either way.
My father passed not too long ago and I found a book he wrote starting when I was born. Lent some real insights as to who I am and how I got where I'm at.
So...I was to have been a William or a Josh...luckily they decided on Lucas instead. Luke preceded Lucas on their name list. Mom thought Luke was too tough to be a baby's name, nor would it be a proper one for a doctor or a lawyer if I were to choose to become one.
Parents are strange...no offense!

I just want to believe there are still people left in the world who care for other people and don't live a completely self-centered life. Of all the times when you could break someone's heart, crush them, destroy them, why when someone is about to have a baby!? Do we live in such a culture of MEMEME that we can't possibly take other people's feelings...

You shouldn't let things like this make you cynical, but you should bear in mind that most people who don't have something of their own tend to take from others. I'm talking about intangibles like ideas, concepts, movements, beliefs, etc. Everyone wants to feel needed and important in this world, and some people unfortunately resort to desperate measures to maintain that sense of self-worth. It doesn't necessarily mean they are selfish, but at best they are inconsiderate. In either case, these are hardly traits that should be displayed by anyone with authoritative influence over children...and yet and yet.

I'm going to Bellydance class tonight! yey! I'm not allowed to dance but who cares! I'm taking the four yrold, he's quite a bellydancer. He's been stoked all week too. And........I got my SG package in the mail today..double yay! Too bad my tank doesn't fit over my swolen melon tum. But I got Stickers WHOO WHOO!
