I'm an online lurker/creeper. It might as well be my profession. (I'm really just curious by nature and probably to a fault)

Well, school, finishing up a leadership program I'm in that ends sometime in the very first part of April. And I full-on plan on travelling all over the place. I have a list that's quite extensive and will probably be costly but fuck it. I traveled more in 2011 than I ever really thought I would so I'm just stepping that up a notch and seeing where life takes me (when I'm on break from school)

So are you or aren't you going back to school? I can't decipher definitively what you're doing lol (see not that really sounds creepy but inquiring minds want to know... aka me.)

Well, you've gone and disappeared on me. Can't blame you though I have'nt been very responsive myself...and I sincerely apologize for it.
I'm on Facebook now (you can follow the link in my profile). So if you happen to get back on here, look me up and friend me. (I tried finding you, but to no avail I'm afraid)
I hope everything's alright with you, and can't wait to hear from you.

That was quite the downpour in Calgary last Wednesday, I had to run out and buy a rain jacket, luckily I found a nice one for cheap at the Deerfoot Mall, and even better luck that the weather cleared up and I didn't have to wear it.

I had a great time in Calgary, the music events I was there to shoot were great and I got some great shots.

This is the most honest and heartfelt blog I have ever read you put into words what I (and I am sure many others) feel every day of our lives in this mind sucking reality that we live in I am sorry that you lost your shop I can imagine this was a huge blow(awesome name though) I have spent the last 14 years wishing for a place of my own I wish to open a book store and I know that it takes huge balls to do something yourself and step on the "man"

As a short-term, temporary reprive, the only thing I can think of is get out of town!
On your next day off just take off for the day...anywhere, it does'nt matter as long as it's a change from the normal, everyday rigamarole rut your stuck in. You don't have to have something specific to go see or do, just get out of there. Go for a long drive or train ride if nothing else, just to see something, anything than your normal everyday life.
As for the long term, you need a change in your job. I've done the type of work your talking about, standing in one spot for eight-fucking-hours! And I nearly went suicidal! Even if you stay at the same workplace, you need a change of venue.
Good Luck!!

As far as other peoples plans, fuck 'em. It's your life and you don't need to justify yourself.

Maybe the kitchen is where you need to be for the time being. Nothing wrong with that. After all, many aspire and work for that. Freedom is good. Any chance of working back there where you seemed to enjoy it more?
