All things said and done...eh.. I FINALLY worked out most of the study abroad situation. They are still trying to make me pay $1500 for "expenses rendered" even though I am not going to France. They still haven't emailed me back to tell me what expenses were rendered, though. I might still be able to fight it. BUT.. I may have to drop my summer...

Ever heard the saying, "when it rains, it pours"? I am not a fan of such trite sayings, but why are they always true? The last couple of weeks of April were complete hell.

Three things bothered me the most about those couple of weeks. First, in no particular order, finals started. This normally isn't a big deal, but this semester I had a couple...

So the week of spring break is pretty much a blur. I didn't even go anywhere special. I just stayed here, veg'ed out, played some Fable 2, and got really wasted. I did cook some amazing dinners. Thursday night, I got so wasted that I ended up staying in the bar after close, cleaning, and having a cocktail take me home. HUGE blank spots in...

holy fuckballs, resident evil 5 is epic. i just hated shiva, though - i swear to god, if i hear "you got it, partna!" one more time, i will hit a bitch.
although i definitely plan on heading to new york sometime in the future, i was thinking of some place more local? hah. everyone's telling me these grandoise vacation spots and i just wanted some place i could take the train to over the weekend. ah well, it's all good.
good luck with your finals.

Damn, today is rough.

I have been doing a dance with the banks and it looks like I might not get to go to France to study abroad. I was trying to get a personal loan to help fund the trip / bills while I am gone and apparently without a co-signer, there are no other options. So now I am on a jungle hunt...

"I don't care that I don't care, but I do care maybe a little bit about not caring about not caring,"

- Elizabeth Wurtzel, Prozac Nation.

I found this quote when looking through all of my old school myspace quote blogs..(back when I still had a myspace). Back then I used to find a quote and talk about it. I must have been really bored...like...

So I just made an awesome dinner. I made Roman Chicken with one of my famous salads. I realized that I mostly make Italian food though. I typically go all out every tuesday and it is mostly Italian.

So.... I thought I would ask the help of all of you for a new dish next tuesday. I want to steer away from Italian. So if...

Hmm...I am in a weird mood today.

So I woke up this morning (way too early for having closed the bar last night), wrote a paper for class, changed my facebook status to express my distaste and boredom of getting a bachelors degree, went to the gym and finished with a marathon of the final half of True Blood. That was my day.

Why do...

Great news!!

I got my Nikon D40 in and it is freakin' awesome. I have wanted one forever and just barely got the money, or the balls to spend the money and blow off a bill. I am still new and learning the ins and outs, but I am going to enjoy this. Anyone want to toss me some advice...ha.

Holy Crap!

It is freakin' cold here today. The computer said a high of 43, so I left without a coat and just wore a sweater. I handle the cold well but that was a dumbass move. Wind chill hit a low of 13 and I definitely lost a couple of inches in the "no no fun zone," if you know what I am saying....

After long last, I have finally fixed my computer.....geez. I fucking hate Norton, by the way. It slowed down my system and I still got a virus. Oh well, I am better now.

Lots of exciting stuff has happened. I am paid and set for France. I leave on May 28th to study abroad over the summer. I am stoked. I have never been to...

Man, I didn't realize you were from Lubbock. I went to TTU, but didn't do photography at the time. I wish I would have, the girls out there are smokin' hot. Prettiest girls I've ever seen in my life. Good luck with the new camera. Remember, it's the lens that makes the difference, not the body, so in the long run upgrade the glass, not the ass.

My head feels like it is going to explode. I decided to take 17 hours this semester to put a rush on my bachelors and get my ass into med-school. Normally that many hours is no big deal, but when 8 of them are physics or organic chemistry, apparently everything changes. Damn. Before friday I have to read 9 chapters (various classes) and the first...
