Aye, the money rolls in, the money rolls out! Collected a roo the other night on the way home after a 13 hour shift, mental note, 980km runs after work makes one a bit slow on the uptake , totalled the car, and old and much loved ford, but walked away unscathed.
Had billy, (fire pot), tea, sugar and a few snacks and a sleeping bag, so, out of phone range in a freezing, star jeweled desert night (phone was flat in any case), the ghost of an unlucky roo and I swapped stories and shared a billy of tea.
About 6 hours later a passing truckie picked me and my 'bongos' up, and on I went.
Life is friggin brilliant!!
Ps 980 km = about 600miles.
Car is roadside 'art'!!
