One summer, when I was about 10 my sister, our friends, and I found a dead butterfly in the back yard. We got dressed up in our church clothes (over the confusion, then protests of our mother) and had a funeral. My friend Russell Patton was the "priest" who officiated the ceremony. Russell later kicked a bowling ball rolling down a hill thinking it was...

If you know me (and now you do) you know that I love the great state of New Jersey.

I live there by choice. I love it there. I love the people I grew up with. I love the shore. I move the mountains. To me New York City is life in overdrive, which is great, but exhausting. It's like eating dinner on a treadmill....

I dunno. To me, "Strong and Shapely" reminds me of women sporting Bible hair and ugly sweatpants. Not Snookie.
ribbonsundone:
Agreed! Perhaps I will even party like it is 1999! (terrible joke, I know).

It's pretty funny that they'd go through the effort of photoshopping that poster.

I like the word "boggled" because it's the only verb I know that is used with only one subject, which is, of course, the mind. Nothing can be boggled but the mind. Nobody even says "boggles the brain". It's always the mind.

Then again you would never say "mind surgery".

An increase in security measures anywhere will invariably be described as security being "beefed up"....

I got out of work around 10 last night and some friends of mine were at Terminal 5 at the Miike Snow show. So I went by, scalped a ticket outside, and joined them inside for the show. The show itself was nothing special. It was fine. But as I left later and walked back to my car I see some girl looking at me....

Due to a combination of atmospheric conditions and the fact that I had about 30 seconds to get out the door this morning my hair today bears a strong resemblance to that of Herbie, the Elf who wanted to be a Dentist, form the "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" Claymation special.
