Awwwy, you wouldn't want to come to SD with me anyway. I'd be really boring company. I've been working way too hard and I'd just wanna stay in bed all day.....um, wait....uh.....

In truth, the nice thing about San Diego is that it's like going home for me. LIved there 20 years so I don't feel obligated to do ANY of the typical tourist things. It's going to be about powering down and getting some much needed rest. Finding a nice corner of beach, a good book, loading up my iPod with good traveling tunes and throwing out the concept of an "itinerary". It's actually the first vacation I've ever taken totally by myself and I'm looking forward to the solitude. I'm a pathological hermit anyway.

Of course, if you really WANT to come to SD I'm sure I'd be willing to entertain that discussion.

Just wasn't exactly sure what to say about the yakety sax thing. It's funny as hell, but that guilty Lutheran girl inside me was having a panic attack at the mere idea that I was finding the crucifixion funny. And you thought Catholics had the corner on the guilt market --- yeah, well, we're their liberal cousins but they somehow must've managed to pass along the guilt gene over all these years.

How ya been? The weather's been gorgeous here and we've got all kinds of people out on their scooters lately. Makes me think of you!

HA! I got it! And that's a damn fine song, if I do say so myself. Definitely the sort that needs to be played loud. (oh my god! did I just say that? They'll take away my license for that, you know.....)

yeah, I know....poodle hair bands were kind of bizarre, weren't they? But ya gotta face it, they really had their marketing down. I mean, they were bands that were cute and un-intimidating to girls so we'd come to their shows to see their perfect, eye-liner, hair sprayed antics. Guys, on the other hand, would come to the shows cuz that's where all the girls were hangin' out. We were easy prey after a little substance assistance, I'm afraid It all served its purpose in the human food chain of sex, drugs and rock & roll.

You and I would've been like the movie "Valley Girl". Please tell me you saw that one....

Okay, random random here, (and I didn't know there WAS a movie ) but don't you think that Proust

Ooooooh! I'm so envious. I pre-ordered that thing from Amazon ages ago but I failed to change my standard "ship to" address and it got sent to my office instead of my home. Since there's no one to sign for the bloody thing on a Saturday in my office, the nice UPS man got to take it back and attempt delivery again on Monday. Meanwhile, everyone who's anyone has already plowed thru it and I feel like the totally uncool kid at school now. WAAAAAAAH!

However, the good side is that I'm leaving on a little business trip on Tuesday so I'll be well loaded for reading material. Best Potter ever, eh? Can't WAIT!!!!!!

Hi ya! I'm typing from my Wing -- jeez I love this little gizmo A boy in Mpls? I do have sort of a childhood sweetheart who lives there but for whatever reason he hasn't wanted to see me the last several times I've been here.... Oh well, I can certainly take a hint.

so weren't you talking about pulling up stakes and moving to Seattle? Any news about that?

yeah seriously. haha. this season is okay. i really liked season 5 though. but that was when i first started watching the series. so maybe thats why i like it so much.
