I was watching my niece and nephew today (she's 5 months, he just turned 4) and my nephew starts telling me he's excited to meet the boy. I asked him what boy. He went on to inform me that when his sister has her birthday, she'll turn into a boy and he's excited to meet him tongue

I'm terribly bored...

The Year

i don't want to nitpick but it isn't a comma you're looking for in #12, it's an apostrophe. i think...i only know it isn't a comma. i'm not an english major, after all.
i might have to take this quiz tomorrow just to be contrary. fuck taking the '07 quiz in '07, i lack "perspective."
feel like getting together on the new year?
hephaestos:
well eventually i'll be a doc but right now i'm finishing a bachelors in herbal science. i figure it'll be a good base to jump into the ND program from. maybe. i've got a year to decide if i'm going to go further into herbal sciences or go into the ND track. we'll see, i guess.
and i was only sure it wasn't a comma, that's all i knew, lol. but i did find it to be pretty ironic.
also, i figured you already had plans. i'm going to go to Mona's and drink in the new year with a good beer and maybe a bourbon if i'm feelign wild and crazy smile
i just meant at some point in the next week while the year is new and school's still out.
what's your degree going to be in when you get back to it?

Merry Christmas everyone smile

Ah, the time of the year where the whole family gets together, stressed out and bickering.

Well, at least it's snowing.

My nephew (just turned 4) got the most presents of course. Out of all the toys and whatnot (including a remote control car and a bike), he got the most exited about a dot-to-dot coloring book that I got him. "It's...

You can steal it anytime you want. I am in love with Sigor Ros. Hey scroll down to a journal about when I met them. He has a glass eye and I was totally starring into it looking for the future like on "Big Fish".
Eh we only had a little bickering, but I did not care. I was to happy about other things to let it get to me. Plus I had some wine. love
shadowslightness:
That's such a cute little anecdote. The kids are funny these days.

Happy christmas and such. The family stress will subside soon. tongue

So, turns out it's not the flu again, just a cold. But it started really nasty as if it were the flu whatever
The kids I was watching all last week (and tomorrow) had a cold, so it seems he gave it to me.

I work for a nanny agency, but I don't like the way they do things. The family I was working for all...

It really sounds like you should find a different job. I've been picking up that you love what you do but you don't love your company. Could you free-lance.
On a completely unrelated note, you're a March 5th birthday too?!? I don't really meet many people who are, so it's very exciting to me. That and I'm easily excited.
Best of luck finding all the joy in your job!
hephaestos:
not the biggest explanation i've ever seen.
that makes sense with the agency. it really sucks that your boss didn't get paid like she deserved! god i hate that when it happens. i'm lucky to have a job where i feel like my bosses really care about how i am doing and who i am. that's really important.
amazingly, REI stopped being that place for me at the end.
but anyway, no sense getting focused on the bad in life, it's great that your job isn't very bad on you.
are you feeling any better? i hope so very much! being sick sucks.

I interviewed with a nanny agency on Monday as a temp nanny. I was really hoping, when I walked into that interview, that they might be able to find me a somewhat long term job as far as temp work goes (1+ months) with a regular schedule. But it turns out that I'll be lucky if I get something that's 1+ months and regular. Looks...

So I went to that big event Sunday evening and I'm really glad I did because the person that invited me was really happy to see me. I ended up having to step outside twice to either keep from crying or to blot my eyes because I felt bad about even thinking of skipping out on it.... that and being around so many people that...

morning glory is that annoying flowering plant you see taking over the edgings around town. it's got heart shaped leaves and trumpet-like flowers. the purple ones contain enough of a compound called LSA, a close chemical relative of LSD, to make you see things. i plan on using it ritually to help hone my connection to the piscean things in life.
i was responding to your OBE where someone was scratching or tugging at your shoulder. the one that happened between 2 and 2:14 AM.
yeah. good day?
noend:
Well, i am glad sunday was cool. you weren't at Freckle's party, were you? (sat 3rd).
Hey yur from Phoenix. i am recently transplanted from tucson.
And i see from the Piscean group yur headed to Europe this summer. I'd love to hit Ireland and Scotland (me home country), but don't know yet where all i'll be at cept for work in Italy
( i hope) and Istanbul.

I'm having an insecure moment, or evening should I say. I hate these. They happen every once in a while. A couple things have happened where I'm unsure of my place with people despite my efforts and I'm at the point where I just feel like sleeping in way to late tomorrow and possibly skipping out on a big event tomorrow evening because that's one...

I bought my tickets!!! biggrin

April 9th - Seattle to Dublin
June 30th - Dublin to NY
July 3rd - NY to Seattle

My trip is officially official!
I'll be homeless for 12 weeks. Sounds exhilarating, yes?

I already bought my ticket from Dublin to Edinburgh on April 16th, and I have 2 more to buy now... London to Amsterdam on April 30th, and Rome to...

I take it back.
I didn't settle on dates yet for my trip to Europe.... I've added another week.
So now I'm doing 11 weeks in Europe and that should probably be final because I don't think I can afford any more than that.

New plan:
Ireland - 6 days
UK - 2 weeks
Netherlands - 4 days
Belgium - 3 days
France - 9...
