i've been there and done that the whole I'am a manager bit....and well my pay actually got worse as a manger because i was put on salary....had the more work....more resp thing...i think all said and done it worked out maybe to my benefit for two reasons...one it looked great on my resume....two the way i left was really gratifying....I put in my two weeks notice....(the owner on my last day told me ..."i need to meet with you we need to talk..." my answer was well my shift ends at 3:30 if you come at 3:31 i wont be able to talk with you" he showed up half hour early..basically said Look i can't afford to lose you right now wht do i have to do to make you stay? I said SHOW ME THE MONEY HONEY! he was like well were kinda slow right now....I said bye bye this meeting is over its apparent that you can no longer afford my services...I left...they gave me a great recommendtion to my next employer
