that said, i think everyone only has a few real good friends in real life....and there's people i've known for a long time and its such that we can just fall back in line and have good times like we used to......

it's good you're getting everything resolved although the results seem sort of painful.
just keep in mind that everything is a series of ups and downs and since you're on a down right now, an up should be right around the corner! followed by a down, but such is life.
i think those social groups are only on tv. i have a few really close work friends, a few close school friends, and a few close high school friends but they generally never mix.
as for now....i recommend ice cream!

i hate that feeling of growing apart from a really close friend. i had a great summer hanging out with my best bud and then her friend from grand junction came and stayed with her for the rest of the summer before they went back to school and stuff sort of went down the crapper. she's a much more unpleasant person when i was around both of them at the same time.
my opinion: i think he's definitely doing it for his self-esteem. so that he feels above you. actually, i think low self-esteem could be the cause of most weird things people do! i'm sorry... i hope he quits being weird.

i hope he quits being weird.Jawbeaker and Jets To Brazil are such great bands, and my Calc 3 test was a bastard. No one even finished 3/4 of the Calc 3 test. I finished 2/3 of it and I am shooting for a 30-40%. I would type more but me brain is fried and I have only gotten like 12 hours of sleep in the past 3 days.

since you mentioned the blood brothers, i put in the album "burn, piano island burn" which is the one i have. my favorite song off of it is the same title as the album....some warning, however: you have to be in the the strangest mood to listen to these guys.
i used to always get fed up with my pants in the summer and cut them off into shorter pants but now i just roll them up...to avoid such headaches in the winter.
