Heh, stupid people drive me nuts. The statement about DE being cut in half is true and false at the same time. "How", do you ask? Goegraphically, false, because the land mass south of the canal is much greater than the northern part. True, because everything north of the canal is almost like it's a different state and the population density probably equals that of slower-lower DE. Sorry to dork up your comments!
