Happy Halloween people!

I have been too sick or sad to write much lately. I apologize. I have been doing freelance work constantly. I have a debt I MUST pay by February, or catastophe looms. Only $3,000 more to go. Otherwise things are good. I have not written much or IMed much. I have logged in a couple times for a few minutes, but...

So bloody tired it took me several minutes to remember how to post a new journal!

Hi all, it was Katelyn's birthday recently. She's my oldest, now 12. I took her and her army of pre-teen mountebanks to see a film called "How to Eat Fried Worms," which centers on a boy who eats worms, sometimes fried. I gave her some bracelets. She...

I took almost all of them, and I'm pretty proud of the way they came out.
Howl's Moving Castle is a great movie! Good present.

I wish sometimes that I could turn a mirror on the world, the nation, the people, the pillars of society and dregs of humanity, and force them to look at themselves as they trulyare, not as they like to think of themselves. The poor, the wretched and the suffering would see themselvesbathed in gold and lightwhile the great ones would see themselvesempty grinning skulls atop...

Glad you liked my first set, thanks a lot for your lovely comment! x

strong and quite true words.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
i wish i had the strength not to swallow pills (as "get refill of seroquel is sadly on my to do list today) but i guess to be fair i have been dealing with the realities and uglinesses of the world without said pills that it has quite rightfully made me so crazy that i NEED them to sustain myself for now. all the mental people tell me i'm not crazy, but rather the rational expected outcome of being forced to see the ugliness of the world. the seem to be saying that seeing the dark side of life naturally takes its toll and that truly it is no one's fault if they end up sad, angry, self destructive, etc because of it.

still it generally sucks and i do wish that i could be one of those bubbly oblivious things that heartlessly ignores the worlds injustices and has a good time most if not all the time.

major huggins and much love kiss kiss

I told the Aquabeast, "With the brown bunny gone, you will be on the recieving end of most of my attention while I am here. You realize this."

The Aquabeast's eyes grew wide with shock, "Oh my God," she managed to utter.

My good chum and sidekick got a new job and today was his last day. Our jobs are miserable, and we all...

I hope your hands get better.

Try sleeping on your left side. It improves circulation!

I'm glad the girls are home safe and sound!

Greetings Chums:

I was without Internet for a while. I now have it again. Also, my gas was off, which meant no hot water or cooking, which sucked, but the gas company dicks are coming to fix it today so that pleases me.

Other than that, let's see. My job search is not going well. I am not getting many calls. This confuses me...

I am taking a break from cleaning my carpeting.

Cat hair is the devil. This cleaning machine is fighting a losing battle against car hair and it's legions. Yuck.

My carpet cleaning soundtrack includes:

The Tragically Hip
The Cure
Red Knife Lottery
Creeper Lagoon
Haymarket Riot

robotsatemyhair:
My fort-building soundtrack includes:

Sufjan Stevens
Pinback
Black Eyed Peas
Pavement
kaleidoscopic:
cat hair has lifelike properties all its own. like in Fantasia when Mickey Mouse tries to stop the broom by axing it to shreds and then from each shred a new broom emerges. the furballs spring to life to relentlessly consume the house and any vaccums that attempt to stop them.

my sister's cat has been staying with us and because we have no AC the poor thing has been trying to shed his fur coat...all over us, the floor, the walls, the furniture, dishes, household objects, and of course every dark piece of clothing i own. ARRR!!!

and yet somehow i still love the kitty. even when he pukes up more furballs and tries to escape every time i open the front door. the cat must have magical powers or something miao!!

My moving/packing/unpacking soundtrack includes...
The Beatles (3rd Anthology)
Eileen Ivers (Crossing the Bridge)
B 52s (Cosmic Thing, Songs for a New Generation)
Fiona Apple (Extraordinary Machine)
Pink (I'm Not Dead)
Ani Difranco (Dilate)

It's hot outside.

It's like being trapped between the clenched buttocks of satan.

I am sleepy. I want to go to sleep.

I keep noodling over one question, though:

Do zombies ever get full?

I mean, are they perpetually hungry for human flesh? Must they constantly eat, or can they say, "No thanks. That was great, but I'm stuffed. Wanna play Clue...

Yes, summer here sucks balls, the sweaty kind.

Zombies could eat for 24 hours if they didn't have the after life expectancy of like 20 minutes.

Your fate rests upon the edge of the vile snout of an unwashed madman!

I just felt like saying that.

I also felt somewhat compelled to say "wicker scrotum," but I won't out of consideration for your feelings.

A friend told me today about a thing she called a "Man Purse." We were at lunch. A person ... a man ... had walked in carrying one...

Good tidings, me beauties ...

I have returned from the desert. It was a pleasant journey. The girlfriend met the parents and all seems to be well there. My parents live in Arizona, in the Superstition Mountains, which are chock full of many a legend.

We spent a day in Mexico, saw some ancient cliff dwellings and a Spanish mission. We swam under the stars beneath...

Hi Chums:

I want to catch up with all of you!

Pardon my silence. I have carpal tunnel ... or so I am told. Anyway, typing hurts and I am supposed not to.

But fuck it. A little pain never hurt anyone I always say.

I put some new pics in my bucket, and added a new profile pic, complete with glasses.

I am going to...
