There is talk of bringing back fox hunting and leaving the European Convention for Human Rights. It feels like living in 1984.

My advice for us poor sods in the UK: try not to be ill, don't be poor, move to Scotland. 'Another 5 years of pure evil' -Ken Livingstone.

Right (awful pun) with the divine @asbo on this. It does feel like living in 1984 (that shit Maggie T in charge) But back to now: and what the fuck did Labour do? Cause Lehman Bros to go tits up and preipitate a global financial crisis??? But they did bail out RBS, Northern Rock, et al, secured loans when Icebank went south, etc. Shored up/saved creaking free market capitalism. And what thanks does the Daily Mail give them??? But what do I know?

I have good news and bad news.  The bad news is that morality is based completely within the mind of the individual and, therefore, complete consensus and absolution of any one decision is all but impossible.  The good news, though, is that by asking this question, combined with the decision-making ability of all creatures of thought, you have presented a strong argument for the existence of morality itself.  If you break down morality into its most basic elements, it becomes a simple form of decision-making.  "Will this decision hurt another?'"Does this decision affirm my sense of truth?""Will I regret this decision?"  These are all questions we have asked ourselves at some point in our lives.  Even individuals who claim to cast out all sense of traditional morality will still make similar choices, if only for their own betterment.  The best thing you can do is turn your morality into expectations for yourself, hold yourself accountable to those expectations, and hopefully, find people with similar expectations.

This site appears to be over 9000 times more pleasant than it was before my hiatus. It used to be genuinely scary circa 2008. I don't really enjoy arguing over the internet and didn't enjoy being classed as a Hopezilla (I just really like SG photos and feel honoured to be part of something so iconic) I am undoubtably a mentalist, but my...

I don't want to do any fun or weird stuff this weekend (which amounts to the same thing, mostly) or spend any money. Ergo I am going to be mooching around the house trying to stay out of trouble (I want to be focused on my first day at my new job on Monday. I plan to spend my time blogging:) I am obsessed...

I totally agree, British Sea Power are an amazing band, but there is something about "No Lucifer" that just puts chills down my spine whenever I hear it. Must listen now!
asbo:
People get obsessed with that song. There is something about it.

Enjoyed the piercing on Saturday so much that I have contacted my super cool body piercer friend about finally getting my clit (hood) pierced. It's one of those things I have been thinking about doing for ages and haven't got round to yet. I swear that since I quit smoking piercings are easier to handle. My epic immune system is unstoppable! (I am...

So not cliche, clit piercings are always exciting! And congrats on quitting smoking.
asbo:
Thanks! I actually quit a long long time ago now (but still have a sneaky fag here and there-they make me feel sick). I think clit piercings are cool but it is kindof "been there, seen that over 9000 times" on SG. The piercing has been postponed though upon orders from my overlord who is currently in The US. I think he wants to watch me getting it done:) I haven't put it off because I am scared or anything. (I am actually really excited about finally getting it done!)

I know this is possibly the lamest and cliched thing to post on here, but I finally got my left nipple pierced today! This side is vertical as opposed to the other horizontal one. It was fun because the lady who did it showed me her own boobs beforehand so I could see what it looked like. She was pretty cute. I enjoyed being topless...

two days ago and keep sniggering about the scene when Ben Stiller attached a car battery to his nipples. My friend keeps winding me up by telling me that she has seen said film and that never happened. She is evil!

@ttaylorr That was too funny. If you protest his training methods, he just chucks another wrench at you!
asbo:
It did happen! Thank fuck for that! I knew I was a deviant but the idea that I could somehow develop a false memory of something like that doesn't bear thinking about. Interestingly enough I didn't find it funny at the time, but nearly fell over laughing about it on the street when I thought about it the next day (thankfully deserted and round the corner from my house) I'm going to have to stop doing shizz like that:)

ack into the BDSM Group? I have PLENTY of things I would like contribute on there! I feel bad. Subs don't like feeling ignored;)

Just noticed my spelling error with "twilight". What a school boy error. If I read those dopey eponymous books about vampires I wouldn't have done this.
lutin:
Those books (while I agree can be seen as dopey) had a deeper meaning and were actually fun to read.  I know, they were written for teenage girls, but...
