My job has been annoying me often, but today had a very fun moment.
I booked a person I had known from working back in Baltimore for a video conferencing interview today for a show. We also had some additional post-interview questions, so I hopped on the headset and got in his ear figuring he probably wouldn't remember me. I introduced myself and it was like I was an old friend and he started asking me about California and the new job.
I didn't get giddy or anything, but it was nice to know I was remembered and good to catch up even in a very quick fashion with an entire newsroom and control room listening in.
That's all for now...Thursday is my Friday so I'm eager to wake up in the AM.
