Goddamn, everytime I turn around, another one of my friends somehow scores a bitchin' deal and they all get the hookup. It's pretty fucking retarded. I've been a musician now since I was 14 and i've never recieved the royal treatment and the exclusive contract. So, today when I found out that a mate I used to be in a band with has a CD coming out on March 2nd, I got 30 kinds of jealous. When he was in my group, all he knew how to do was sing (which wasn't very good). Now, he somehow learned drums and is in this big band. WTF? Oh, well, good for him I suppose. I ran into him while getting gas and he told me he's in this band called 'Everlovely Lightningheart'. I did some research and his band is getting all of this crazy attention. It's all about who you know I suppose. It's like Ryan from Test Your Reflex. His band before that ROH used to open for The Disclosed. Now that guy's on MTV. His cousin Cody is on fucking tour right now with a million fucking dates with his band Chatter Chatter. Now I know what Brian feels like when his old bandmates are in Eagles of Death Metal and whatnot. Damn, i'm kinda wondering if my music will every become anything? I'm sure it will, but we're seriously being overlooked. I'm just upset that Travis got a CD out nationwide overnight. It's fucking retarded. I'm glad for him though.
