At the tail end of a 2 day fried mobo excursion. Stuck a drive in last week and shorted my motherboard so I got a new one for $12 and nothing worked. Had to reinstall everything. Of course that realization came so AFTER the fact. I spent a majority of last night trying to get the old shit up, shuddering in denial.
Need to wash the PCI card dust off my face (along with assorted other 90 degree NY humidity bacterium) and watch a movie about Quakers or those Amish people. Overhead someone on Ave A. say "...at a certain time in their life, they get to go out and experience our world." They must have been talking about the damn Amish, who knows. Lots of activity in the hood today, seemed like all the hipsters were out an about selling shit. One guy was selling plastic combat action figures, another was selling homemade jewelry. It was like some kind of Phish show on war crack in a whole neighborhood. Also, live reggae bands in Tompkins and girl acousticas rockin out on street corners.
Time for a $4 plate of chuntney.
