RIP Robert Palmer
Can't say I was a fan, but still.
Only 54 and died of a heart attack.
In other news, went to see the Fu Fighters last night (Yes FU...) As tribute bands go, I've seen better. Other conclusion we all came to last night was if you take a band like the FF, you are going to have to play tracks from the albums that only fans will know, so gets kinda boring after a while, whereas say, a Metallica tribute band or the Stones would be better all round...
Other than that, spunked too much money in the fruity - waving 50 notes around having sold my car - got very trollied, went for the 'I'm not hungry and don't need anymore beer' post beer drinking Curry... with more beer.
Needless to say, not feeling 100% effective and I want to go back to bed... or just steal Kafs idea and build a fort in the front room and just lie there till the world stops spinning.
Todays random compilation CD for the office comprised:
Wyclef Jean - Red Light District (Intro)
Adam and the Ants - Stand and Deliver
Black Eyed Peas - Where is the love
Christina Aggie - Fighter
D12 - Purple Pills
Dido - White Flag
Faith No More - Epic
Wyclef - Perfect Gentleman
Jinxed - Relentless
Offspring - Self Esteem
Pet Shop Boys - It's a Sin
Pink (With Willy Orbit) - Feel Good Time
Placebo - Run to the Hill (Kate Bush cover)
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (Should have been we will rock you!)
Sean Paul - Like Glue
Stiff Little Fingers - Alternative Ulster
Proclaimers - 500 miles
Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil
Us3 - Cantaloop
An eclectic ::Something for everyone:: mix indeed
Well, might as well face it, i'm addicted to...
