i lucked out and saw the police twice last week.. the staples show was great.. and the dodger stadium show was worth seeing because of the foo fighters. they wailed.
and yes, i actually enjoyed the police live. they played for 2 hours and there was only one song i didn't recognize. i'm not the biggest fan. it just goes to show you how many great songs they squeezed into 4 albums. and thankfully they played none of sting's solo stuff nor did they play any "new" songs that they'll try to peddle on the public. hell, they didn't even do any glib patter between songs, with each other or the crowd. just the songs.
and there's nothing wrong with that.
