Nothing lasts forever.. i am reminded of this every couple of years.
Just when you think your little life is complex and every little negative thing is a big deal, one senseless act, a crime gone wrong, sets of a chain reaction and an entire family and community crushed.
The things that truly matter receive sharper focus, those things you though mattered, petty and trivial don't mean shit.
Take a good look at yourselves and what's around. Give that someone, bf, gf, best friend, close friend, mother, brother father, sister, daughter, son, pet, plant....who or whatever it is that gives you a smile and/or glimpse of joy each day, a big fucking hug.
Try for that job that seems impossible. Follow that dream. Smile at the person passing by. High five a stranger.
