I am finding it very difficult NOT to give up on finding a new job. After applying for countless positions that I am more than qualified for, I feel as though I'm near the end of my rope. Very few returned phone calls and only a handful of interviews that have led to nothing. I am losing faith very quickly. Being 40, under 6 ft tall and having bad hair are negatives to most employers. I refuse to lower my standards until I am broke. I don't want to work at the mall, Target, some warehouse job, ect. I didn't spend thousands of dollars 20 years ago to attend college and then, 20 years later, resort to working at McDonald's. Let me just close with this. If YOU are currently attending college and majoring in COMMUNICATIONS/BROADCASTING.....ABANDON SHIP.....ASAP!!!!!

I think a sense of humor is important too. Otherwise life can become unbearable.
