Even at my age, I still get the occasional urge to pack my stuff up and move south or west in search of a much warmer climate. Like clockwork, ever mid to late September, a dark cloud of depression sets in as another summer says goodbye, the days get shorter, the sun gets less bright and the foreshadowing of yet another winter looms heavy every time I look up.
I would like to be able to live and experience a lifestyle where a blistering cold, winter's day is a high in the mid to upper 50s. Where snow is something that is only seen whilst watching an NFL game or The Weather Channel. I want to live where I can get up in the morning and walk or drive to a white sandy beach, take off my Keen sandals and take a nice power walk or jog in shorts and no shirt.
This is what keeps me going.
