Well the war protest was pretty rad... they reckon 20,000 turned out on 3 hours notice... we marched from town hall to the american consulate to the prime ministers office and then all dispersed @ Circular Quay.... it was pretty wild people were furious.... it shut down the whole city... we tried catching a bus to the protest but ended up getting off a stop later as the city was gridlocked and the whole thing was quartered off by cops... the cops behaved themselves for once too....
There were protests in each capital city around Australia. Pretty good effort guys.. and the major protest is on Sunday where in Sydney they reckon we could get between 500,000 to a million people marching.... I need to get a camera
Busy day again today.... I got about half the things done on my list from yesterday... I still have a beaver from the 70's, I need tofutti cuties.... and I need to clean the house

Great to know that protests are taking off in Australia. The scale of resistance worldwide is being played down on the TV news over here. Some TV channels are not reporting the international condemnation either - from Africa, India and China, from the Pope to Nelson Mandela. How safe is your Prime Minister after this?
[They can't use the 'war on terrorism' argument so much in the UK, as we had decades of war in Northern Ireland, and eventually had to admit that we couldn't defeat the IRA militarily. They sent the British army into the North of Ireland to 'defend' the Catholic areas in 1972, and within months they were shooting civilians and creating a war which lasted 30 years. Terror breeds terror. Look at Palestine.]
