I swear to christ, I will choke the next person that gripes at me for indifference to the Katrina disaster, when all they are doing is standing on their soapbox via some crappy internet blog or newsletter. Sure it's only speculation that griping is all that they're doing, but to blindly target criticism towards people without knowing the extent of charity they have tried to pass on is bullshit. I've given time, money, blood, clothes, and been a shoulder to cry on for people who have no idea of the status of their family, and I'm not even mad that these messages are getting to me. What burns me up, what makes me want to lash out, what truly disgusts me about this is that these are getting to the people that were affected, people that lost homes and their families, and thats just sick. So if anyone reads this that is on some Micheal Moore-esque guilt trip towards the nation, be careful who it reaches, because there's a difference between hypocracy and helping out.
