I own a lot of books I've never read. Lately, I've been checking books out of the library and jotting down passages and selections in some of my notebooks. I am a true quotes-fiend. For example, I found these recently:
The hand of Vengeance found the Bed
To which the Purple Tyrant fled;
The iron hand-crush'd the Tyrant's head

Ya, I moved when that central market was being built. Now my sister in law runs the greenville store. She looks a lot like Voltiare if u ever go in there. I should be coming in dallas soon...maybe we can hang out!

For the past two weeks I've been craving CHINESE and INDIAN food, constantly. I have probably gained some weight, too. Does anyone know any good Indian food recipes, preferrably vegan? Thanks!!
clara:
I believe there's a group called 'The Kitchen' or something similar where the folks of SG share recipes.

I was reading the book _Foucault in 90 Minutes_. Sometimes I'll be reading something, and I'll come across a paragraph, or phrase, that is odd, or jarring, or hilarious, I feel as if I want to write it down. (Does that ever happen to you?) Anyway, I came across the following passage:

Hmm, well, I checked out Jean Cocteau's "Blood of a Poet," a Kids in the Hall tape, the classic French movie "Battle of Algiers," and a documentary on Sacco and Vanzetti. I'm all set. Just one thing's missing...
Some days it's dark ... some days I work
Okay, so I finally put up a real pic of me for my "profile" pic. And I uploaded some more pics under "My Pics." Yes sir, that Bell Witch haunted site was something else. Unfortunately, I didn't encounter any apparitions or ghosts the way others claim to, but I'm glad I went, just the same.

Army of Darkness is simply one of the best movies ever made

I think I may be up for a change of profession. Just got back from a very intresting vacation that's made me think about a lot of things: my family, where I'm going in life, etc. I've got to get my ass in gear; can't afford to waste another year.
So, how much do professional skeptics make? Houdini did alright at it. Seems fun to...
