A short look back:
I turned 35 on monday. That means I've been in here for almost 10 years. A lot has happened in those 10 years. A lot has happened in the last year. I've done a sort of "Top moments of this year" before on this site. It's Always good to get back to. Lots of things dissapear in ones memory, even good stuff. Here's my 34th year in short:
- Played 3 concerts with "A Key Is A Key" in St. Petersburg, Russia. BIg experience.
- Met Simone. Crazy beautiful, crazy funny, crazy intelligent and kinda crazy young (she was 22). The aesthetics of it all was almost overwhelming, but it kinda died out when she went to the States for 5 months. Still very good friends.
- Worked customersservice at the biggest newspaper in Denmark. Lots of free newspapers, lots of angry customers. The job almost bored me to death.
- Weddings. Beautiful and very emotional. very good. Some I had brought together back in the days.
- Played a few concerts with one of my idols on the drums- Will play more:-)
- Met woman here and there. One doctorwoman thought I had gotten her pregnant, which was not the case. It was her boyfriend (?!? ... she didn't mention him to begin with).
- Played at "Am Ende Der Wald" outside of Berlin, a festival in the woods. AMAZING!!! Also tried MDMA for the first time. Also amazing.
- Started dancing more and more this year. It's really a good, good thing.
- Applied for the university of Copenhagen (musicology), without thinking I ever stood a chance of getting in. Even had to take a 4 1/2 week German class in order to be able to - maybe - get accepted.
- A good friend died. Fell out of a 6th story window. He was a good guy and I'm happy to have had the chance to experience life with him. His death brought a lot of thoughts and inspiration to life in me. He didn't live for nothing. His circle of friends are proof of that.
- Got accepted to the university, and right now I'm working my ass off trying to hang on to all the knowledge, assignments and reading. But it feels so freakin' good to be learning again!!!!!!!
- Aunts 60th birthday kinda blew up, but it was good to see that some members of the family are still family. They're finding their grounds after 50+ years.
- Met a portugese woman. Very different from everyone else. She's only been dating women up until now, but ... we're certainly seeing a lot to and of each other. Her ways of interacting and understanding is really something else. Very rare and very unique. It may not be a long term thing, but we'll definitely be friends for years to come. A win-win situation.
Lot of other things happened, but all in all I feel like my life has direction for once.
That's a new feeling. I'm taking myself seriously.
Good day to all.
