I've decided to let my SG subscription lapse. Not out of any dissatisfaction, far from it. I just want to reallocate resources to other, more pressing needs. To all of the lovely ladies who share photos and blogs and notes, thank you.
when I was young I had no use for pink floyd. too introspective, too laid back. i was a black sabbath, alice cooper and kiss kind of adolescent.
now, however, lines like "no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun" and "the dream is gone, the child is grown, i thought i'd something more to day" resonate.
so i can't remember the five things to buy at the supermarket after a 1 and a half mile drive, but i can sing the jingle for a beer that hasn't been brewed for probably forty years after seeing a can appear in a tv show for three seconds.
so I try to structure my time so that I can devote a solid block to one thing, but the interruptions don't stop and every one is more important than the last one, so...
