If it makes you feel any better, I have this double-jointed problem with my thumbs so I have trouble holding things like a 10lb bowling ball, so I have often pulled the whole Sophia-from-Golden-Girls tuck-under-the-legs two-handed bowl. And yes, I looked like an assclown doing it. And most importantly, I still bowled horribly.
