Wow, this has been quite a week. I've had a ton to say but i just haven't sat down to write it out.

The week was a bit of a downer at work. A guy in London has decided he's unsatisfied with my progress on the project thus far, which hasn't made things very pleasant for me or the people i work for over here. Without going into a lot of details, it's bullshit. I've been spending time what i perceived needed to be done and there's been an absolute lack of communication regarding anything else i should be doing. Even now that "expectations" are supposedly not being met, expectations are not clearly laid out. This is what i've been preaching the last week or so.

Thursday i pretty much assumed that i would not have a job in a month. Friday was a better day, even after a longer-than-usual 13 hour day. I've done what i can do at this point-- I'll have to see where things go from here.

Thankfully i had another good weekend. Friday was night was chill after a long day at work. Saturday i got to hang out with one of my favorite lady friends. We saw "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" which was quite good. Afterwards, i made us a late dinner, and we walked down to Righteous Room right before last call. Good times with good company.

I think things taking a turn at work has inspired me to spend some of my hard-earned money. I bought some shoes today and a bunch of other random stuff. Had a nice dinner with the fam up in Roswell.

So here i am again. Sunday night, the weekend went by so fast.


PS I think i'm getting sentimental in my young age.
