i went and got my new drum set today!!! went to guitar canter (yuck). i hate that place so much, but i figured i'd go check it out just to see if there was anything worth looking at. i found a really nice pearl 5pc set, which is exactly what i wanted, because the 9pc i've been playing on is just not practical, and it makes me lazy with my fills, because i don't even have to think about what i'm doing...the dude i was talking to was actually cool too, which is really fucking weird, because everyone knows that people who work at guitar center are for the most part, douchebags. but yeah, dude was really cool...i ended up picking up the set, a cymbal pack, new heads, some sticks....dude actually gave me the sticks free (which is to be expected) and the heads too, which was cool, cuz that's 50 bucks i saved just right ther...not to mention i got a fair amount of money knocked off the set, because i'm slick as fuck.
so at the moment, the drums are in boxes in my truck, but tonight i'll get them put together, and there will be many pics to follow.
