Im going to do this journal mostly for me, so I can attempt to better understand a string of events that occured yesterday. Maybe if I write down what happened I can get a much stronger grasp of what happened. But if anyone has any opinions/advice/comments, by all means give it to me.
Yesterday as I was driving my ladyfriend to work a conversation was brought up by yours truly:
Steve: So are we seeing each other exclusively?
Tanya: I dont know thats a good question.
S: Im just wondering cause people ask 'is that your girlfriend' and Im not quite sure what to say..."
T:I dont know, I hang out with this guy from work, we play pool and stuff. But theres nothing physical we dont kiss or anything, we dont even hold hands or anything like that.
S: okay???...
T:Yeah, Im going away to school at the end of August, and I dont want anything too serious....
S: okay, I was just wondering, its up to you. I dont want to change anything between us. Im more so just wondering if were actually seeing each other exclusively.
T:I dont know, what to you think?
S: Its up to you. I was kind of hoping for a yes or no answer....
T:A yes or no answer?
S:yeah.
T: How about this, I dont want anything to get too serious, and I dont want to sitting on the phone every night, and hanging out seven days a week.
S: I know thats fine by me. I just wanted to continue things the way they are, but "officially".
T: OK then.........sure.
S:So I should call you in about two seconds?(laughter)
T:NOOOOOOO.
S:Allright babe Ill see ya.
T:Yeah give me a call sometime. (kiss goodbye)
S:Why dont you call me so I dont overstep any boundaries.
T: OK
So, thats pretty much a summary of the conversation I had with my now girlfriend. I should be as giddy as a schoolgirl, but for some reason Im feeling kind of depressed about the whole thing. As Im typing this the only thing I can think of is that she didnt say "YES" right away and talked about another guy friend she had. IS that reason enough to get semi-depressed and nervous, or am I some sort of crazy person? Here I am falling head over heels for this girl and she says she doesnt want a serious relationship. I mean after what happened with the last girl Im in no hurry to jump into something serious. But if this were to mature into that, I would have no problem whatsoever. ANd it sucks shes going away to school because Im seriously doubting any sort of "long distance relationship" despite the fact she'll only be like 3 hours away.
There it is. Im gonna go back and re-read it to see what I am so "upset" about. Comments/advice/opinions are greatly apppreciated.
In other 2cool news:
Im finally getting my car fixed next week. Then my beautiful baby will finally be ready for some street racing action and all around cruising. 93 octane here I come.
Im also going to apply for this job I tried to get before. Im pretty much a shoe in this time. THe only reason I couldnt get it before was that I worked for a GM dealership. And since the company is a subsidiary of GM they couldnt technically "steal" me from the "same" company. (if that makes any sense whatsoever). If I get it Ill be back in the 8-430 world, no more of this working nights garbage.

Since Im getting such amazing advice on the above topic(such as 'do her in the pooper'), Im going to leave that up for at least another day and see if I get anymore.
Anyways, I got the job I applied for. The interviewed me on the spot and called me on my cell phone as I was driving home to tell me I got the job. When I went in last night to my current job I told my boss, and he was pretty much begging me to stay. So we'll see what happens.
And Im hanging out with the girl today for the first time since the above conversation. It will probably be slightly akward at first, but Im sure the tension will soon be gone. Anyways, I spoke to my sis (who is friends with my girlfriend in case you missed) and she said the guy Tanya works with is no threat at all. She described him as 'kind of weird', so all should be ok. That is until the end of summer when my lady goes away to school. I really dont want a long distance realationship, but this girl is so incredible Im really tempted to give it a shot if we make it to that point.

you really must. its the fancy edition also has about 1 minute of extra footage in it that makes the ending make a hell of a lot more sense. (unfortunately it also has a thirty-second scene of Conan talking abour fresh blueberries that is so fucking gay that if it were a scene of Arnold kissing a man, it would somehow be less gay).
