my horoscope (along with the millions of other scorpios) for this week: "I can't understand why people are frightened of new ideas," said composer John Cage. "I'm frightened of the old ones." That thought should be your guiding principle in the coming weeks, Scorpio. No matter how useful your elegant theories have always been, they're now becoming barriers to your progress. No matter how attached you are to the insights and opinions that have made you what you are today, you should be willing to outgrow them. "In a time of drastic change," wrote Eric Hoffer, "it's the learners who inherit the future. The learned usually find themselves equipped to live in a world that no longer exists."
cool, Fractal's new set is...or just the fact that she has one

can i just get an 'Amen' that Kimberly Elise is fine!?!
and also...i need food for my orchid Dru and you know who has a beautiful orchid? Venice
i feel like acquiring something today when in reality i should be shedding all the flimsies...
One present day hero Stephen Hawking

and i want right now to be chopping wood that has fallen naturally and placing it on the hearth and lighting a fire to it and sitting next to it in a rocking chair that i've made with my own two hands (like said hero is doing above-although his hearth is not burning and his chair is not rocking)*
*revision-a fine line is walked between hero and villain...as in..okay i put a mushroom cloud image here but now it's bunk so you get the picture...or actually you don't...
and the guilt that must be felt, robert mcnamara...einstein...and i used to live in Kensington, which houses many retired Berkeley professors and scientists and physicists and there was a high rate of suicide...what was that most famous case...my brain is small and incomplete...
i've decided what i need is a cyborg wife who has some measure of feeling and nurturing capacity..thanks Siv for bringing back the magic of the cyborg today...
and in the words of my Scotska: I was abused as a pen and that's why the cycle continues...he is one of the funniest men on the planet and my sister's one of the funniest women...
and my friend and neighbor was slapped on AC Transit today...the perils of public transportation and Courvasier..
and....there's always a yin to your yang..or vice-versa
did you know it's Kick-in-the-face day in B.C.?
i am twisted and cruel and lost and bored...and too old to blame it on youth angst
and BOO that Evil's gone...let's follow suit...
Day reminds me that i love Juliette Lewis:
and a different note:
this woman's (yayoi kusama) work was revolutionary once and can be argued to be still...i'm fonder of her most recent pieces like the fifth slide...
and another thing...
Drop Dead Gorgeousis one of the best movies in my opinion but i don't have any more room on my favorite movie area to include it..or Amadeus..
