AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another weekend ruined beforehand.
That's the third weekend in a row they're making me work.
What kind of a slave contract did I sign?
If any of the Brisbane people reads this, is there something going on in town this weekend.
I was actually planning for a weekend away so I didn't watch out for entertainment.

Other than that not much happened in my...

Ok, first of all, No Fun At All were great, so were the Flatliners. Didn't get to hear too much of the two opening bandes because the sound was terrible.

Second, I don't get people. Why on earth would you go to a concert to get so drunk that all you can do in a moshpit is fall over again and again?
where's the fun...

Hello everyone...

another work week here comes to a close and I still didn't do the real job I came over here for.
However I am happy to report that my tanning process is progressing satisfactory and I am no longer the palest (is that really a word) person in the company house.
We got a new roommate last night, a very nice and quite...

People here are so tan, I feel like a ghost.
First week in Australia is almost over.
I've gotten used to the job, but I'm still using 50+ sunscreen.
Brisbane is a great city, the people are really nice and I love that I don't have to wear five different kinds of jackets out.
I'm really looking forward to my first weekend, my roommates want...

I have not really traveled too much outside of Aust, so I guess Im just used to the whole "no worries mate" thing. We have a fairly easy-going culture I guess. Except on the roads, some of us have pretty bad road rage. I'd watch out for that, particularly if you are cycling on the roads. You can legally cycle on the footpaths, which is what I prefer.

I would love to go to Australia but I'm to afraid of spiders so I will have to wait till I can train a kangaroo to punch a spider then bring said kangaroo with me for protection. Only then will I visit you in Australia!

my new digital camera should arrive soon.
I'd like to put up some new pictures here, it sucks to be stuck with the same one for all this time.
It's not that I don't like it, it's just getting a little monotonous.

On a completely different topic, I hate the new schedule for Psych.
My saturdays during the last few years used to start on...

Thats all good.

I like finding locals tips and blogs of places I'm visiting if I can. It always helps.smile

I'd be grateful for every tip you can give me.
good places to eat, go out and so on.
locals tips are way better than travel books.

it's always the same. you go out drinking, have a couple too many, wake up the next day and feel lousy.
someone should invent alcohol that doesn't mak you sick the day after because not drinking or drinking less isn't really an option.
but the fun i had last night was well worth today's pain, i just hope it goes away soon.

soooo hungry but I'm way too tired to go to the store and get some stuff and too broke to order in.
maybe I'll just take a nap and the feeling goes away.

so I just got back from getting my first "real" tattoo.
I already had some lettering on my arm but that was just so small and not really impressive to look at.
The first one was just something for me, a excerpt of tennyson that speaks to me directly...

The new one however is pretty big and it hurt so much that I had to...

what is it with people running around with harvard sweaters today?
especially when you're about 5000 miles away...
that's just weird.

huh, long time no post.
although nobody reads this anyway...
my place is a sty, i seriously need a clean up lady or something comparable.
however, i don't have the energy to clean up myself, i have even less of a desire to to do so.
meh, life can be tricky sometimes.
oh well, first take a nap, then see where the day takes me.
riese:
If you have to 'clean someone up' then they are not worth it. you should get them already clean! they are hard to find but i'm sure you'll do it!
