I'm trying to see just how much of my life I can waste posting stuff on Suicide Girls, and on LiveJournal. II hope I don't break any records.
Working on writing to potentially go in my Master's Thesis. I'm wondering if I have any interest in persuing Creative NonFiction as an art, or if I just want to say that I'm a Master of something. It's sort of like being boosted from a lame ass storm trooper to Darth Vader in the Dark Side of the Force. What can I say, I've always wanted to be a leader.
I have this theory that Creative NonFiction is making up shit and convincing people it's your life, whereas regular fiction is writing about your life and convincing your relatives it's bullshit. One method just seems to require a lot less apologizing than the other. Since I've always been shitty about apologizing, I suppose it doesn't matter.
Hopefully I'll soon pick up some local journalism gigs so I can mix my personal reflections with really wound up political ranting and raving. I haven't written a good "I hate George Bush" rant since I left Athens and moved to Portland.
Enough blathering, I'm boring myself.
