This wouldn't normally be a bad thing but I don't like her like that. We worked together in the past and hung out as friends and only friends. We stopped hanging out when she thought that I was going to re plumb her house for free. It was a whole big thing where I was the asshole for not wanting to work two jobs and only get paid for one. I had to excommunicate her from my life and everything was right in my world again.
We just recently started talking again after years of silence. Less than a week or so ago she spent the night at my house. We didn't have sex we literally just slept. I only allowed it because she was drunk and didn't need to make a twenty mile drive home. I do like her as a friend but she is a handful. I can only be around her in small doses.
She's starting to act like we are dating. It's kind of creepy, it's all lets go here and we'll do this. Saturday night she stopped by my work and says that she's my burden now because she was dropped off and doesn't have a ride. My response was "do you need a ride home?" I didn't feel like driving twenty miles out of my way but I would if she needs it. Then my friend Ben says that he can run her home. Which was great because I don't have to waste the fuel and he lives near her anyway. She kept asking if it was ok if she took him up on his offer. Then Sunday I get texted an how my day was going so I responded "good" because I was having a very productive, good day. Then she comes out of left field with "why are you mad at me?" "What did I do?". I wasn't mad but I guess because I wasn't dropping everything to have a conversation with her it seemed like I was mad to her.
Not once in the entire time I've know her have I ever said "we should go out". Not ever has that thought even crossed my mind. The most I've even done to this girl is give her a hug, which any girl that I'm friends with will get. I hope she finds someone special, but that someone won't be me.
