Wow, for all of you who read this, that means you commonman, my weekend was very, hmmmm, eventful? I drove out to Palm Springs after work. It was about a two hour drive. I arrived at the restaurant where i was to meet my friends and a few other employees, of that Evil company, for dinner. They had been drinking for a while and so i, being the wonderful acloholic that I am, had to "catch up" so double johnny walker and soda it was. Then onto dinner and about six Sake bombs later, we were really livening up the place. Then after the "older guys" left. Myself and my friends left for a place called the Yard House (like 150 beers on tap, and if you are a dork can buy a yard of beer Yay!). One of the guys had to be driven to the hotel immedietly for, how do you say, he was throwing up Yay! Sooooo we drank there for a while, well until they closed, then i end up jumping into some unkown persons (they were two meatheads who i was talking shit on earlier and one of their girlfriends, what the fuck ws i thinking?) car and driving with a bunch of people i dont know to a persons, who i dont know, house for a party. It takes forever to get out there, something i literelly had to pay for later, and i drink more Yay! So its like six in the morning and i have no ride back to my hotel and my friends are not answering there phones so the guy who owned the place, actually a really cool guy who happened to know people from my hometown, called me a cab which cost me $60. Im driving in the cab, the sun is coming out and I get back to the hotel and luckily a friend answers the phone this time telling me which room we are in. I crash for about an hour, since our tee time is 8 o'clock, and as luck might have it, we wake up at about 7:58 so we are late Yay! We head over to the course, i take a huge gulp of what i thought was orange juice but turned out to be practically straight vodka for breakfast and away we went to golf Yay! In between shots (golf not alcohol jeez)i would lay down and fall asleep for a second then be woken up when it was my turn a few seconds later. I actually didnt play that bad, took fourth but whatever. As the reception thing went down i found a nice place in the shade (it was like 94 degrees no joke) and slept until my friends could take me back to my car. The drive home was fun, almost falling asleep during the hour and a half drive home always is fun. I seem to continue my decent into whatever dark abyss i am falling this year. Yay!
commonman:
You drank more alcohol in one weekend than I have drunk all year. I'm not sure if that is good or bad. It sounds like you had an experience that will make a good story someday, but perhaps wasn't much fun to experience. Remember, whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger (or makes our stomachs stronger, anyway)
