Actually, if it's May it's the beginning of summer, but I won't quibble.

Late Spring and early Summer is my favourite time of year. Beautiful warmer weather, the new green of unfurling leaves, the sudden riot of colour as all the flowers appear, birds, bees, butterflies, and carpets of Ramsons and Bluebells in the woods (the reason I believe in fairies!) ❤️ What's not to love? 😍
