Chris and I started a new blog called
dumpster ninjas. We are going to have multiple contributors (our crazy creative friends) and the idea behind it is kind of like an inspirational found objects blog. Pictures, artifacts, words, trash, movements, whatever. I guess we just always wish there was a place to put random things we and others pick up. So anyhoo.
check it out. We plan on adding a handful of people (My bro, some mass art peeps & some of Chris's friends) so I assume that eventually it will be updated pretty often. Also, there is an email link on the right hand side if you happen to have something that you think should be on there
So Chris and I have both unofficially have started trying to take a more Taoist approach to life. Not trying to force life to flow a certain way and trying to accept the natural way of our own personalities and of life. Try to work towards personal happiness not against the stresses that we face.
That is not to say we are unhappy. At all. In fact I have never been so happy in my entire life to have someone with me all the time. I guess we just want to try to lessen the impact of stress so that we can enjoy our time together even more.
I have been working on my perception of time (how I feel like I never have enough of it and I feel guilty for doing things because I should be doing others even though they should all be pleasurable activities).
I have also been working on the idea that if something is making a negative impact on my life I need to do my part to change it instead of just cursing the universe - for instance instead of loosing my mind over traffic I have decided that I will go into work at 7:30am instead of 8:30am to see if that helps.
I've been thinking that since our messy house has been such a point of stress for us that maybe we should put away all of our dishes way up high and only keep one set for each of us. That way we have to wash it right away. I figure maybe that small step will help us with routine.
Anyone use Twitter?
Hope everyone is doing very well!
P.S. Im really looking forward to coming home at Christmas...

Oh, by the way, I bought 2 more candles today at the grocery store. I tried walking by those guys, but one called my name and the next thing you know, they were in my cart. Sneaky devils.
thanks for being so sweet to me <3
