Fun with Film: 35mm shots.

Introduction

These were shot with my Nikon F4s (35mm) using Lomography's Berlin Kino 400 ISO film. I pushed the film to ISO 1600 and shot this around dusk with only ambient light and the lowest shutter speed that I could use and not shake the camera (somewhere around 1/90 to 1/120). I adjusted the black slightly in Lightroom after they were developed and scanned. Not bad for experimenting with a camera that was designed in 1988 and in production for about 9 years. I've had newer 35mm cameras (lost to the perils of moving too many times over the years) but honestly I have to say I prefer this camera. Now just to learn to shoot it again...

@tintanankin thanks.  I think I like this Berlin film, on the double exposures and some other things I shot with the normal ISO the grain has a nice quality to it and it also seems pretty versatile to push as far as these are and still keep a nice grain.  Straight out of the camera they could have been a little deeper black but that is probably my fault and fortunately nothing that can't be fixed in Lightroom.  I need to try some of their other films but I still have about 6 other rolls of other B&W films to play with.  I'd love to kn0w more about which film stocks you like but I don't want to bore everyone on here so I may message you for that.  lol.
