I really am a nameless, faceless surreality. What you might call a name could easily be me frantically pounding on the wall, trying to affirm my existence.
What a strange world we live in where the kindness of strangers is looked upon with greater suspicion than the actions of those who control our lives.
Why must it take tragedies for people to be reminded of our ability to unify; to give and love each other selflessly?
Dont you think these things should change?
If so: Be the change you wish to see in the world. Gandhi
One particularly disappointing evening, amidst a parade of respiring meatcakes, I saw what my eyes perceived to be great beauty. For any number of reasons Im sure many would deem as pitiful, I did not hit on this girl. I could scarcely decide whether or not to bother attempting to express my perception. The words I use don't seem to work very well at all. I patiently waited, assessing the mess around me so as to be sure I was being genuine, and after a brief preface, I simply said, Youre by far the most beautiful girl in this place tonight. I hope for your sake that you know that and that you keep that knowledge somewhere safe in you where no one can fuck with it. I was granted a smile and a thank you, I bade her good night and I left. Some might say my sharing this story is some sad quest for a fuller recognition than I received, or perhaps some more supposed self-righteous preaching. I only say that I hope somewhere else in this digitanalog existence that there are others who speak selflessly from the heart.
Everything is beautiful? Everything is ugly? No. Everything is, if and/or whatever you want it to be.
I dont wanna be an ant, you know? Umm no, I dont know. Sorry. Thanks for everything, especially the straw. Im gonna go now
The spectacular light of the most beautiful deaths can scarcely penetrate the pollution of humanity.

Well, you're welcome. That selection was from another of my more personal blogs to which I allow nobody access. I wrote this at around 2 AM one night while up in San Francisco for a conference. It was one of those nights where I was attempting to ignore the noise in my head and just go to sleep because I had to get up in 5 hrs. Instead of just ignoring it this time, though, I decided to get up and type this out. I was tired as fuck the next day, but whatever. Anyway, glad you enjoyed it.
