I don't get to write here as often as I would like. Life some times get in the way. I also don't think too many read what I have to say as I am not as active on the boards as most and so I don't draw a lot of attention to myself.
So be it.
I am reading Stephen King's new book, "Cell." I am liking it so far. Granted I haven't gotten too far along in it, but it is sort of reminding me of the "Stand," my all time favorite SK novel. My favorite SK story is the "Dark Tower" series. As of yet, "Cell" doesn't have the character development that the Stand had, but the story looks to be moving down the same path. I am purposely not giving details of the story in case some one does read this and has the same interests as I. I wouldn't want to spoil anything for them.
We had more snow today. If we got a couple of images I'd say it was alot. I am SO tired of the snow! I want the weather to turn warmer, the rain to clense the roads of sand, and I want to ride! I started my bike tonight, just to get the valves and cylinders rotating, but man it sounded good. The new pipes I had installed after the accident called to me. Though the bike is quite a bit louder now, the entire cycle whispered Let's ride. Let us cruise. I can't wait to answer that call. Just to get on, get away from the city in which I live, and just motor, like in a Bob Seger song. *sigh*
A couple of weeks ago now, I went up to Peabody, Ma and shot with a new girl. She has been shooting self images for a while, but I was the first photographer she worked with. She picked out the locations (since I was traveling to her). We had discussed a few ideas as to what we wanted to do, but for the most part, it was a meet and greet. In any case, we got some incredible images. She was fantastic to work with... open to any/all ideas, great intuition with her posing, and just a beautiful person. We are REALLY looking forward to shooting together again. This time we will have specific themes to work from and I have no doubt, the next set of images will be completely kick ass. I posted a few from our shoot in my pic section. Should you stumble upon this journal and read this far, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thats it for now. Life is once again intruding.
So be it.
