I was looking at a statistic this morning and October was the lowest amount of deaths for American Military since the month with the highest amount. I know that sounds confusing but there were only about 36 deaths last month of Americans. That is a good thing.
Apparently we are allowing more control of the country to local police and local militias. Also there was the troop surge that allowed us to have more soldiers on the streets and more control in general.
I also just finished a book that says that the Kurds are in control of their area and 200,000 soldiers ready to secure their section of the Iranian border. They say that if we allow them a larger roll in securing the country that they will make sure that all Iranian influence is removed from the country and that democracy will flurish under them. I say let them have at it.
