Well this past weekend was great. My unit went to the field for a 3 day drill. Everything went fairly smoothly and the few problems we had were taken care of quickly. Also all the females in my reserve unit kick ass. They proved every minute of each day out there that they are just as tough as any of the males and I would take any one of them back to Iraq with me. And I can tell you another thing any one of them would go. They would go not because they want to or think it is the right thing to do but because they know it is their duty. Almost every one of us has already been there but if you told us to go again we would.
I want to let everyone know that what is going on over there is a good thing. It is unfortunate that americans are dying, and especially young americans, but this is the first time in their history that the people have a say in their government. So for everyone out there that says we are moving Iraq in a backward way they are way wrong. I have had interaction with Arab and Christian Iraqi's and they are all thankful that we are there and that Sadam is gone. Don't ever let anyone tell you different. The only people that want Sadam back are Sadam, his henchmen, and France.
