Well the car went back to the dealer on Monday. It is a Lincoln bought at a Cadillac dealer. They threw their hands in the air and sent it to the Lincoln dealer. Like I thought they are chasing a ghost. So it went to the Lincoln dealer Tuesday and I have not heard anything since. Now I am waiting for a call from the Lincoln dealer.
I need this straightened out before I can start the performance modifications to it. It has to be running at 100% at stock before I can make it better. It was running great when we went up to my inlaws for the weekend. We went to dinner and the movies with my sister in law and her husband. We all looked awesome in the car and it was a dream and then on the way home the check engine light popped on and that is the end of the story.
So then I am going to see my wife for lunch and my truck takes a shit on me. So it is also at the shop right now.
Is it not amazing how major things like cars not working can all happen at the same time and you take it in stride. You know no big deal I'll get it taken care of and all this will be over, but let that asshole in traffic cut you off and you want to tear his throat out. Let that pedestrian step off the curb while you are trying to make a turn and you want to run him over or put his ass back on the sidewalk where it belongs.
Oh well, life goes on and both cars will end up working again in the long run.
